About the brand

Theoma is a premium functional cacao brand positioned as a coffee alternative — theobromine-driven energy without caffeine's crash, competing in the MUD\WTR and Ryze space while serving the ceremonial cacao market. Trademark filed, Amazon Brand Registry complete, DTC and Amazon FBA infrastructure built ahead of launch. Six-ingredient clean label, naturally flavored, no sweeteners, no flow agents.

About the founder

KB

Kenny Battaglia is an Air Force officer who has instructed at multiple schoolhouses and commanded a joint unit of more than 400 service members. Theoma started in Guatemala, where he first encountered ceremonial cacao and wanted a version that fit a weekday morning. He treats the current sachet as a validated recipe, not a commercial formulation, and is bringing in a food scientist to close that gap. Manufacturing and day-to-day communication run through Cesar Bustamante (VMS Creators).

Formula overview

Base

  • Non-Dutched Peruvian cacao, 30% fat — brand-supplied, direct from producer
  • Coconut milk powder, 65% fat, no carrier
  • Sodium caseinate

Flavor and function

  • Madagascar vanilla powder
  • Himalayan pink salt
  • Sunflower lecithin

Six ingredients, no flow agents. Delivers 200 mg theobromine and 500 mg cocoa flavanols per 15 g serving.

Quality and testing

  • Heavy metals on every cacao lot — cadmium and lead — and on finished product
  • Full micro panel given the dairy and coconut base
  • Theobromine and flavanol assays
  • Peroxide value and water activity at release and on stability
  • Blend uniformity, fill weight, seal integrity
  • Allergen controls: milk, tree nut (coconut)
  • Finished-product testing through an ISO 17025 lab

What we need you to hold

  • FDA facility registration
  • Current third-party cGMP certificate (NSF, UL, or equivalent)
  • Allergen program with dairy and tree-nut experience
  • Product liability insurance
  • Lot traceability
  • Optional: organic, kosher, non-GMO, fair trade

Physical retail

Digital and physical retail will ask for case-pack specs, lot traceability, and audit evidence — we would rather build to that standard from the pilot than retrofit it. We will pay a short-run premium rather than commit to launch volume before the product is proven. Open to blending at one facility and sachet filling at another.
